Portrait of Mark Lidzbarski Mark Lidzbarski Mandaïsche Liturgien — Prayer 18

XVIII. In the name of life.
Pirjawis, the great Jordan of the first life, which is all healings, flames like splendor in the Tannā.
When the life flamed, when the life rose by the great effulgence flaming in it, the life rose and founded a Škīnā above the Tannā. The splendor heated up, and the Tannā melted. Water was created and arose, and life found permanence in its own water. It set up Jūr in Jür, and life was glorified by its own splendor and the great splendor that flames in it. The life set up the life in the water. Over the water the fruit blossomed up and settled the Škīnā.
