“ One population of the type subspecies is situated in north Armenia.
D. (C.) s. shirakense, ssp. n. (type locality Lernavan environs, 40°48 ́10.57 ́ ́N 44°09 ́58.10 ́ ́E, 1893 m) is distributed all over west part of Armenia and in north-east Turkey.
Seven more subspecies are recognized in Armenia: D. (C.) s. tavushense, ssp. n. (type locality – Idzhevan environs, Acharkut, about 41°2 ́9 ́ ́N, 45°5 ́6 ́ ́E, 800 m) in north Armenia, D. (C.) s. gegarkunicum, ssp. n. (type locality – Akhberk environs, 40°32 ́58 ́ ́N, 45°17 ́09 ́ ́E, 2280 m) around north part of Sevan Lake, D. (C.) s. ”
