Passover Haggadah

“ The rabbis taught: 'The days of your life' imply this world, 'all the days of your life' implies the Messianic times.

“ On all other nights we eat either reclining or sitting upright, but on this night - we only recline.

“ We were Pharaoh's slaves in Egypt, and our Lord, Hashem, removed us from there with a strong hand and outstretched arm. If God did not take our forefathers out of Egypt, we, our children and descendents would still be enslaved to Pharaoh in Egypt. So even if we are all scholars, all wise, all elders, and have knowledge of the Torah, we are commanded to tell the story of the Exodus. And whoever tells the story at length is praiseworthy.
