"And Elohim spoke to Moses and said to him, 'I am Hashem and I appeared to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, by the name of El Shadai...'" (Shemot 6:2-3) . Rabbi Abba opened the discussion saying, "Trust in Hashem forever (Heb. עֲדֵי עַד) , for Yah Hashem is an everlasting rock" (Isaiah 26:4) . "Trust in Hashem" means that all the people of the world have to strengthen themselves in the Holy One, blessed be He, and trust in Him. ”

“ May Your name be blessed in the mouths of all living things, always and forever. As it is written, "You will eat and be satisfied and then you will bless Hashem, your God, for the good land which He has given to you." (Deuteronomy 8:10) Blessed are You, Hashem, for the land and for the food. וְעַל הַכֹּל יי אֱלֹהֵינוּ אֲנַחְנוּ מוֹדִים לָךְ וּמְבָרְכִים אוֹתָךְ יִתְבָּרָך שִׁמְך בְּפִי כָּל חַי תָּמִיד לְעוֹלָם וָעֶד כַּכָּתוּב, "וְאָכַלְתָּ וְשָׂבָעתָּ וּבֵרַכְתָּ אֶת יי אֱלֹהֶיךָ עַל הָאָרֶץ הַטוֹבָה אֲשֶׁר נָתָן לָךְ" (דברים ח י) . בָּרוּךְ אַתָּה יי עַל הָאָרֶץ וְעַל הַמָּזוֹן. ”

“ Blessed are You, Hashem, who gathers in the dispersed of His nation, Israel. תְּקַע בְּשׁוֹפָר גָּדוֹל לְחֵרוּתֵנוּ, וְשָׂא נֵס לְקַבֵּץ גָּלֻיּוֹתֵינוּ, וְקַבְּצֵנוּ יַחַד מֵאַרְבַּע כַּנְפוֹת הָאָרֶץ . בָּרוּךְ אַתָּה יי , מְקַבֵּץ נִדְחֵי עַמּוֹ יִשְׂרָאֵל. ”

“ This was a recurrent, pleasant saying in the mouth of Rabbeinu z"l: How good it is to thank Hashem for sending us the faithful one of his house, who is Moshe Rabbeinu r.i.p., who delivered us from all the confusions, and gave us the Torah, and ordered us to believe in Hashem without any questioning, and to perform all the words of the Torah and their commandments in their simple sense. Fortunate is whoever is privileged to conduct himself in simplicity! ”

“ Afterwards, the words, "AND HASHEM SPOKE TO HIM" OR "COME UP TO HASHEM" represent another level (Ze'er Anpin) . Here too in our text, "And Hashem spoke to Moses" represents one level (the level of judgment referred to as "speaking") and afterwards the verse, "And Hashem said to Moses, Speak to your brother Aaron" represents another level, (the quality of Mercy, which is "Saying") which reveals that they carry one equal scale and all are joined from one source. ”

“ This verse was explained, yet come and behold, it is written, "Behold, bless Hashem." Who are those worthy of blessing the Holy One, blessed be He? "All you servants of Hashem." Although anyone [136b] from Yisrael is worthy of blessing the Holy One, blessed be He, who gives the blessings for the sake of the supernal and lower beings? "All you servants of Hashem," yet not everyone. Whose blessing is considered a blessing? Those "who stand by night in the house of Hashem" (Ibid.) ; those who wake up at midnight to study Torah. These are those "who stand by night in the house of Hashem." ”

“ Ki eshev bechoshekh Hashem owr li/ Though [or “when,” or “because”] I sit in darkness, Hashem is a light unto me” (Mic. 7:8) . And then the fall and descent is the ultimate ascent, and is as mentioned. And this is the Kohen haGadol [High Priest] in the Beith haMiqdash praying on Yom haKippurim, “Velo tapil ishah peri bitnah/ And let no woman miscarry the fruit of her womb...” ”

“ And there has already been printed the story of the Baal Shem Tov obm, at the end of the book Toledoth Ya`akov Yosef, of the trader and his wife who were at sea, etc., which is founded on this predicate that the “woman who fears Hashem” is the assembly of Yisrael.
Now that Hashem has informed us of all this, through our early prophets and tzaddikim and sages, according to these words the understanding reader who wants to gaze into these stories with the honest eye for its own sake can easily understand and be enlightened by them, to find wonderful awesome things. ”

“ And in the future this awareness will be revealed, for they will know Hashem with a wondrous intellect, that even though He constricted His light to the sides in order for there to be place for Creation, nevertheless "there is no place void of Him" and He fills all the worlds and pervades them etc. ”

Blessed be the name of His kingdom forever. (בלחש:) ברוך שם כבוד מלכותו לעולם ועד:
וְאָהַבְתָּ אֵת יְהוָה אֱלֹהֶיךָ בְּכָל לְבָבְךָ וּבְכָל נַפְשְׁךָ וּבְכָל מְאֹדֶךָ. ו וְהָיוּ הַדְּבָרִים הָאֵלֶּה אֲשֶׁר אָנֹכִי מְצַוְּךָ הַיּוֹם עַל לְבָבֶךָ. ז וְשִׁנַּנְתָּם לְבָנֶיךָ וְדִבַּרְתָּ בָּם בְּשִׁבְתְּךָ בְּבֵיתֶךָ וּבְלֶכְתְּךָ בַדֶּרֶךְ וּבְשָׁכְבְּךָ וּבְקוּמֶךָ. ח וּקְשַׁרְתָּם לְאוֹת עַל יָדֶךָ וְהָיוּ לְטֹטָפֹת בֵּין עֵינֶיךָ. ”

“ And let us not spend our days in vain, God forbid, but only merit to guard all our days and hours, periods and moments, adding every time, a supplement of added holiness through the fear of Hashem. And let be fulfilled in us the scripture, "Yir'ath Hashem tosif yamim/the fear of Hashem adds days" [Prov. 10:27] , and have compassion on us, and see our lowliness and pressure ”

“ Let us lift our hearts with our hands to the Almighty who is in the heavens. [25] Into His hands let us commit our spirits. [26] To You, Hashem, let us raise our souls. Your mercies have helped us until here. Our help is none but You, our Support. And let the pleasantness of Hashem our God be upon us. Until the moreh tzedek/Teacher of Righteousness come to our congregation and build our glory the Holy Temple. "Look upon Tziyon, the city of our solemn gatherings." [27] "Your eyes shall see the king in his beauty." ”

“ One who is traveling a dangerous place should offer a brief prayer, and say: Save, Hashem, Your people, The remnant of Israel; Even when they distance themselves through sin, let their needs be before You. You are the Source of all blessing, Hashem, Who heeds prayer. ”

“ And this is because we have dwelt among the gentiles and learned from them, etc. In truth, the Jewish people are above nature, only when they sin, G-d forbid, then, etc. {This sentence is unfinished}. When Hashem wants to save the Jewish people from their exile, he then bestows upon them divine providence from the ends of the earth. In the future, nature will be nullified completely and there will be nothing except divine providence alone, as it is written (Isaiah 51:6) "for the heavens shall vanish like smoke", etc. ”

“ And the King became king over the entire world, and the entire world returned to God, Blessed be He, and they all were involved only in Torah, prayer, teshuvah and good deeds. Amen, so be His will. Blessed is Hashem for eternity, Amen and Amen.
[Notes Following the Story] The verse states that Hashem Yithbarakh has an oven in one place and fire in a different place, distant from the oven, as written [Isa. 31:9] , "Ne'um-Hashem asher-ur lo beTziyon wethanur lo Birushalaim/ Says Hashem, Whose fire is in Tziyon and His furnace in Yerushalaim;" ”

“ I awake, for Hashem sustains me, that I overcome and wake up from my sleep because I yet do not despair myself, for Hashem sustains me. For the good point that a man finds in himself this is like Godliness, as it were. Because all the good is from Him, blessed-be-He. For the Torah and Israel and Hashem Yitbarakh are all one, therefore when there is in an Israelite some good point, i.e. some mitzvah or good thing, this good is complete oneness with Him, blessed-be-He. ”

“ And if we would have indeed known, and had it not been hidden from our eyes, that many had arisen against him — nevertheless the truth is witness for itself, and we are obligated to do his will, and Hashem will do what is good; the one who hears will hear and who refrains will refrain. And also because, praise God, until now His mercies have helped us, for his holy compendiums have spread out within the Holy People, in the community and the assembly and Yisrael, and his words have been joy and happiness to them, and have been sweet as honey in their mouths. ”

“ That the essence of his holy intent in each Torah that he revealed, and in each utterance that went from his holy mouth, it was only in order to bring merit to Yisrael, bringing them to straight deeds. To hint to them from afar and from close, to show them advices and strategies deep and wondrous. To draw close to Hashem Yithbarakh from all place he is. As the looker will see with his eyes if he will earnestly look in truth. ”

“ For his entire holy intent was only that we try to understand the service and the advices that proceed from each Torah. And that we ask from Hashem Yithbarakh and prostate before His Blessedness and try to do according to all that is written them in simplicity. And in Hashem we trust, that whoever will put his eyes and heart to the holy words taught in this holy book, his heart will blaze and eyes will open, and he will utterly long and yearn for His holy service, until he returns to Hashem in truth, with all his hearts, life and substance. A heart as strong rock will move from its place ”

“ Another thing: AZL"A GRY"Sh – the Shekhinah said to the Holy Blessed One, "Drive out this handmaid and her son" (Gen. 21:10) – these are the Erev Rav (Sam. 26:19) that are "driven out from cleaving to the inheritance of Hashem" – driving them from this world and the coming world, so that they have no portion with Yisrael. ”

“ This will bring you to faith, Chesed (Divine benevolence; human kindness and charity) , and nullifying yourself before Hashem Yitbarakh, as in (Ps. 22:7) , "But I am a worm and not a man." Through this, you defeat the opposers, and break the disbelief and heresy they cause - and you'll be able to elevate and refine the good that is in their Torah (Ibid. 3-5) .
31. You can only attain true Torah through Azut di'Kedushah (holy boldness) - being "bold as a leopard" (Avot 5:24) in serving Hashem, paying no attention whatsoever to those who hinder you and try to ridicule you and so forth. ”

“ Rabbi Acha bar Jacob, said, Come and behold. It is written, "And Isaac entreated Hashem for his wife, because she was barren" (Gen. 25:21) . Rabbi Acha asks, Why is she barren? Because the Evil Inclination does not have its full strength in the world, the only fruition and multiplying comes through prayer. It is then written, "and Hashem was entreated by him, and Rivkah his wife conceived." Once the Evil Inclination is aroused, there is procreation! ”

“ See, discern and look at the service of the tzaddikim, that their pain over their shortcoming in their service — how far, how far it extends; fortunate are they!
66 Pertaining to the matter that is printed [in the parables] at the end of Sipurei Ma`asiyot which begins, "Know that there are two kinds of palaces: in one dwells the king and in one dwells the `eved/servant" etc.:
When one serves Hashem but he is still in the aspect of `eved/servant, he is still in the aspect of arur/cursed, God forbid; but there is an aspect of `eved bikdushah/servant in holiness, aspect of Moshe `eved Hashem. ”

“ As a result of this reverence before his Master, he will merit to serve with joy the commandments of the Torah. Therefore, it is written, "What does Hashem your Elohim require of you, but to fear" (Devarim 10:12) .
"And rejoice with trembling," that man must not overly rejoice in this world, referring only to worldly matters, but one must rejoice in the matters of Torah and the performance of precepts. Then man will find himself able to perform Torah and precepts with happiness, as it is written, "Serve Hashem with gladness." ”

“ And what changed during the Great Flood, when the term 'Elohim' is used, while the term Hashem (is not used at all) ?
We have learned that everywhere the term "and Hashem" is mentioned, (it indicates) Him and His courthouse. But when the term Elohim is mentioned alone, this indicates only the courthouse. In the case of Sodom, Judgment was passed not to destroy the world, and thus, (Zeir Anpin) was involved in carrying out Judgment. But in the case of the Great Flood, the whole world and all of its inhabitants were destroyed. ”

“ What is there to do for us that He has not done for us, through his holy and awesome Tzaddikim and sages who were in each and every era from the giving of the holy Torah until today, who all, united, rouse and awaken us with great arousal, "ve'ein ish sam `al-lev/and no man takes it to heart" [Isa. 57:1] , and I am poor, aching and exhausted; I have no escape and deliverance except I cry out and shout: "Qoli el-Hashem ekra, veya`aneni mehar kodsho, Selah/With my voice I call out to Hashem, and he answers me out of His holy mountain, Selah. ”

“ The words "and let the dry land appear"is the secret of the engraved name of the union of Caf -Vav-Zayin-Vav, Bet-Mem-Vav-Caf-Samech-Zayin and Caf-Vav-Zayin-Vav, because the dry land which is the revealed world is included in the union of the supernal world which is the secret of "Hashem our Elohim; Hashem."
The verse: "Let the earth bring forth grass" (Genesis 1:11) is the secret of the lower union, as it is now revealing its powers in these waters that have been gathered in one place. The Mochin are drawn down into it in a concealed and a hidden manner. ”

“ The essence of all of the tribulations that befall mankind, G-d forbid, is only from a lack of da'at/knowledge. He who has da'at and knows that everything is divine providence from Hashem Yisbarach has no tribulations and does not feel any sadness, etc. The essence of the Jewish people's sadness in exile is only because they fell from da'at and relied on nature and luck/fate {or signs of the zodiac}, G-d forbid {Note: R' Nassan means here that instead of believing that everything is determined by Hashem, we have relied upon the natural sciences}. ”
