“ Following the resolution passed by the Association at our last meeting in Denver extending the good will and help of the States in connection with the work of this Road Congress, the Executive Committee, in behalf of the Association, extended the most hearty cooperation of the State Highway Departments and recommended to the States which may have an opportunity to have a special part in his great meeting, to help in every way possible. ”

“ Relocation and Recognition of Business Route Proposed rerouting begins on present route south of Glen Burnie over a recently completed controlled access divided highway into Baltimore utilizing a part of the Baltimore Beltway and the Washington-Baltimore Expressway, then over city streets to junction with U.S. 1 on North Avenue. Present marked U.S. 1 would then become the Business Route. ”

“ NEW MEXICO U.S. Route 64 Relocation APPROVED Discontinue the U.S. 64 designation between Taos and Santa Fe and designate as U.S. 64 that route between Taos and Farmington over S.R. 111, 553 and 17 through Tres Piedras, Brazos, Manero and Bloomfield. IOWA U.S. Route 65 Relocation APPROVED Relocate present U.S. 65 in Mason City to provide for a one-way pair on Delaware Street and Washington Street to replace present two-way route on Federal Avenue. ”

“ IDAHO-UTAH-WYOMING U.S. Route 30 S Elimination APPROVED Eliminate the current designation of U.S. 30 from the intersection of Granger Junction, Wyoming, to Burley, Idaho. This route is generally concurrent with I-80 and I-80N. IDAHO-WYOMING U.S. Route 30 N Redesignation of Main Route and a Business Route as Route 30 APPROVED Redesignate currently designated route U.S. 30 N between Granger Junction, Wyoming and Burley, Idaho as route U.S. 30. Currently designated U.S. 30 N Business in Pocatello, Idaho to be redesignated as Business Route U.S. 30. ”

“ APPROVED—After a study of the information supplied by the other States that would be affected by any subsequent proposed extension beyond Missoula when construction standards and traffic needs might qualify for inclusion in the U. S. Numbered System, the rerouting of U. S. Route 12 from Forsyth to Missoula instead of into Yellowstone Park was approved. ”

“ APPROVED To reserve for future assignment to Appalachin Development Highway between Cumberland, Maryland, (U.S. 40 and U.S. 220) and Morgantown, West Virginia (U.S. 19, I-19) a U. S. Route Number Designation (U.S. 48 suggested) . ”

“ MICHIGAN, WISCONSIN - U. S. 141 was extended, absorbing U. S. 102 in Michigan, and the designation of the entire route is now described as follows; "Michigan, beginning at an intersection with U. S. 41 east of Covington via Covington, Crystal Falls to the Michigan- Wisconsin State line north of Florence, Wisconsin, and from the Michigan-Wisconsin State line southeast of Florence via Iron Mountain to the Michigan-Wisconsin State line north of Niagara. ”

“ Beginning on US Route 410 at the Washington-Idaho State line, then westerly on US 410 via Clarkston, Pomeroy, Dodge, Delaney, Dayton, Waitsburg, Walla Walla, Touchet, Pasco and Kennewick to State Route 8, thence south and west over SR 8 via Plymouth, Paterson and Roosevelt to US Route 97 south of Goldendale then south an US Route 97 to US Routes 197 and 830 at Maryhill Junction, thence westerly over U8 Routes 830-197 via Wishram to junction with US 830-197 near the Dalles Dam, thence continue westward over US 830 via White Salmon, North Bonneville and Camas to US Route 99 in Vancouver. ”

“ Madera Proposed routing would be over the old route of U. S. 99 which has been changed to a new freeway by-passing the business district between a point 0.5 miles south of Madera to a point .5 miles north of Madera. ”
