This routing for U. S. 78 and 278 begins at the western edge of Augusta, thence over a new high standard facility eastward through Augusta picking up U. S. Routes 1 and 25 at interchange points where the new facility intersects each route then northerly to a new bridge crossing the Savannah River (State Line between Georgia and South Carolina) a short distance east of the present bridge. ”

“ Beginning on US Route 410 at the Washington-Idaho State line, then westerly on US 410 via Clarkston, Pomeroy, Dodge, Delaney, Dayton, Waitsburg, Walla Walla, Touchet, Pasco and Kennewick to State Route 8, thence south and west over SR 8 via Plymouth, Paterson and Roosevelt to US Route 97 south of Goldendale then south an US Route 97 to US Routes 197 and 830 at Maryhill Junction, thence westerly over U8 Routes 830-197 via Wishram to junction with US 830-197 near the Dalles Dam, thence continue westward over US 830 via White Salmon, North Bonneville and Camas to US Route 99 in Vancouver. ”

“ Beginning at the junction of present US Route 280 and a new facility in the south edge of Columbus, thence west on new location to the Georgia-Alabama State line and the bridge crossing the Chattahoochee River to connect with a new location for US 280 in Alabama. ”

“ Madera Proposed routing would be over the old route of U. S. 99 which has been changed to a new freeway by-passing the business district between a point 0.5 miles south of Madera to a point .5 miles north of Madera. ”

“ Proposed route would begin on U. S. Route 98 in Beaumont and extend north over Mississippi State Route 15 via Laurel, Newton, Philadelphia, Louisville, Ackerman, Maben, Houston, Pontotoc, New Albany, and Walnut to the Tennessee State line; there joining a route selected by Tennessee to continue northerly to Jackson, Tennessee. ”

“ Beginning at the New Mexico-Texas State Line, northeast of Anthony, Texas, thence northerly over U. S. 80 and 85 to Las Cruces, thence west of U. S. Routes 70 and 80 to Deming, thence northwest over U. S. 260 (to be eliminated if U. S. 180 extension is approved) to the New Mexico-Arizona State Line west of Lune, a distance of 250 miles. ”
