“ But just as our adversaries and enemies of the past learned here in Poland, we know that these forces, too, are doomed to fail if we want them to fail. And we do, indeed, want them to fail. (Applause.) They are doomed not only because our alliance is strong, our countries are resilient, and our power is unmatched. Through all of that, you have to say everything is true. Our adversaries, however, are doomed because we will never forget who we are. And if we don’t forget who are, we just can't be beaten. Americans will never forget. The nations of Europe will never forget. ”

“ And we have the chance now, working together, to deliver change for the ages -- this will be change for the ages, change like never before; to pursue real peace, real stability and real prosperity. We want to secure our borders and protect our workers; to rebuild our military and our infrastructure; to fix our schools and restore safety to our neighborhoods; to bring hope and opportunity to our inner cities; to ensure a level playing field for all women in the workforce; to reform our tax code and remove the regulations that undermine growth and innovation ”

For the mothers of someone who has, or is, serving our country, this must be especially true. ”

We are, and forever will be, a nation of pioneers and patriots, risk-takers and renegades, aviators and astronauts. We crave adventure and achievement, exploration and enlightenment. ”

“ Because as the Polish experience reminds us, the defense of the West ultimately rests not only on means but also on the will of its people to prevail and be successful and get what you have to have. The fundamental question of our time is whether the West has the will to survive. Do we have the confidence in our values to defend them at any cost? Do we have enough respect for our citizens to protect our borders? Do we have the desire and the courage to preserve our civilization in the face of those who would subvert and destroy it? ”

“ During the sacred season, Christians celebrate the greatest miracle in human history. More than 2,000 years ago, God sent His only begotten son to be with us. An angel announced the birth of our Lord and Savior to humble shepherds. He said: "I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all of the people. Today in the town of David, a savior has been born to you, he is the Messiah, the Lord. You will find a baby wrapped in clothes and lying in a manger." At Christmas, we thank God for sending us His son, to bring peace to our souls and joy to the world. ”

“ You not only know the pain of sacrifice, but you also know the tremendous rewards of military service -- of being part of something much larger than even yourselves. You know what it means to be part of a military team in which men and women are bound together in a sacred covenant of trust -- to serve together, to sacrifice together, and to fight together. ”

“ To all of the military families here today, thank you for your daily service to your families, and equally as important to our great, great nation -- and we have a great nation, it's getting stronger every day. [Applause]
And I can say this to all of the military folks, our nation is in fact getting stronger and stronger every day. New equipment is coming in. You've seen what's happening. Your spouses are talking about, it everybody's talking about it, but you get the first glimpse. ”

“ As you know, this Christmas is different than years past. We are battling a global pandemic that affected all of us. Yet through this great challenge, we have been inspired by the kindness and courage of citizens across this country. Teachers have worked extraordinarily hard to keep our children learning. Students have delivered groceries to elderly neighbors. Communities have found new ways to stay connected to one another. Courageous first responders, doctors and nurses have given everything to save lives. Brilliant scientists have developed treatments and vaccines. ”

“ Now, among the most committed members of the NATO Alliance, Poland has resumed its place as a leading nation of a Europe that is strong, whole, and free.
A strong Poland is a blessing to the nations of Europe, and they know that. A strong Europe is a blessing to the West and to the world. (Applause.) One hundred years after the entry of American forces into World War I, the transatlantic bond between the United States and Europe is as strong as ever and maybe, in many ways, even stronger. ”

“ The characteristics that define the Air Force aviator -- boldness and bravery, action and instinct, power and grace -- are woven deep into the American spirit and have defined our people since our nation was founded. ”

“ We send our love to the military families whose sacrifice helps keep our nation free. We give thanks to the law enforcement officers who protect our communities, and we pray for a future of peace on Earth. ”

“ To every military service member mother and spouse here today, I want you to know that you have my complete and total support. The White House, this administration and this government stands fully behind you. As we celebrate Mother's Day this weekend -- I had a great mother, she's looking down right now. I have a great mother. Mary. This is one of the many opportunities for us to thank the incredible military mothers who love and care for our nation's heroes, and they are heroes, so thank you very much. ”

“ We don’t have a level playing field. Because you understand that when American workers win, America as a country wins, and wins big. And every country over the last long period of time has been taking advantage of the stupidity of our politicians. It's not going to happen any longer. (Applause.)
You want lower taxes, less regulation, millions of new jobs, and more products stamped with those beautiful, beautiful words: "Made in the USA." (Applause.) You want to make it easier for companies to do business in America and harder for companies to leave. ”

“ There is no distance too far, no speed too fast, no challenge too great, and no height too high that will keep the United States Air Force -- or the American people -- from total victory.
The American people are eternally grateful. We will stand with you always. ”

“ Every night, the Poles put up sandbags amid machine gun fire -- and it was horrendous fire -- to protect a narrow passage across Jerusalem Avenue. Every day, the enemy forces knocked them down again and again and again. Then the Poles dug a trench. Finally, they built a barricade. And the brave Polish fighters began to flow across Jerusalem Avenue. That narrow passageway, just a few feet wide, was the fragile link that kept the Uprising alive.
Between its walls, a constant stream of citizens and freedom fighters made their perilous, just perilous, sprints. ”

“ Americans fought and died to liberate Europe from the evils of Nazism -- you know that -- and Fascism. American military power helped to free the world from the oppression of communism. And today, Americans like you are battling the sinister forces of terrorism throughout the Middle East, North Africa, and the world. American military history is rich with noble traditions, harrowing missions, and selfless heroes -- like your parents. ”

“ Erasing national borders does not make people safer or more prosperous -- it undermines democracy and trades away prosperity. We're giving it away. The so-called global elite have done very well for themselves, but have left working families with shrinking wages, really -- I mean, they are shrinking. Eighteen years ago, many of you in this room made more money working one job than you're making right now working two and three jobs. ”

“ We've come to your nation to deliver a very important message: America loves Poland, and America loves the Polish people. (Applause.) Thank you.
The Poles have not only greatly enriched this region, but Polish-Americans have also greatly enriched the United States, and I was truly proud to have their support in the 2016 election. (Applause.)
It is a profound honor to stand in this city, by this monument to the Warsaw Uprising, and to address the Polish nation that so many generations have dreamed of: a Poland that is safe, strong, and free. ”

“ The nations of the Middle East have endured one terrorist attack after another -- and I called on them to take on the burden of fighting this evil that has killed so many innocent Muslims. During this unprecedented gathering, we opened a new center to combat extremist ideology, launched a task force to block funding for terrorists, and agreed to massive economic development deals, the likes of which there has never been, that will create hundreds of thousands of jobs in the United States, building the equipment that has just been ordered by Saudi Arabia. ”

“ And from that moment, America has dominated both air and space like no other nation in history. Our air superiority is unquestioned -- not merely because we have the best equipment, but because we have the best people by far. ”

“ I will always stay true to myself and be truthful to you, no matter what the opposition is saying about me. (Applause.) I will act in the best interest of all of you.
