The exercise of democratic rights within the meaning of the Constitution is not an incitement to boycott. ”

“ Trade unions participate significantly through the activities of their organizations and bodies, through their representatives in the elected state organs of power and through their proposals to the state and economic organs the shaping of the socialist society, managing and planning the national economy, the realization of the scientific-technical revolution, the development of working and living conditions, health and safety at work, working culture, cultural and sporting life of working people. The trade unions are working in the companies and institutions to draw up the plans. ”

“ Every citizen enjoys complete freedom of faith and conscience. The practice of religion without interference enjoys the protection of the Republic.
(2) Any abuse of establishments created by religious associations, of religious acts or religious instruction for purposes which are contrary to the principles of the Constitution or for purposes of party politics is prohibited. However, the right of religious associations to express an attitude in keeping with their own viewpoints towards issues vital for the people shall be uncontested. ”

“ Men and women have equal rights and have the same legal status in all spheres of social, state and personal life. The promotion of women, particularly with regard to vocational qualification, is a task of society and the state.
⁠ (3) Young people are especially encouraged in their social and vocational development. They have every opportunity for responsible participation in the development of the socialist order of society. ”

“ Constitutionality of laws of the Republic may be challenged by not less than one third of the members of the People’s Chamber, by its Presidium, by the President of the Republic, by the Government of the Republic and by the Laender Chamber. ”

“ On the principle of autonomous administration by the insured, a unitary and comprehensive social insurance system serves to maintain the health and strength of the working population, to protect motherhood, and to provide against the economic consequences of old age, disability, unemployment and other vicissitudes of life. ”
