“ The Council may by writing under the common seal of the Society empower any person, either generally or in respect of any specified matters, to execute instruments on its behalf in any place in or beyond New Zealand. Any instrument executed by such an attorney on behalf of the Society binds the Society, and if executed as a deed has the same effect as if it were under the Common seal of the Society. ”
