Solomon Abramovich Lozovsky,  The World's Trade Union Movement (1924)

“ We may create a "pure" Communist little union, which will have all the Communist virtues, but which will not embrace the laboring masses. This is not Communist tactics. We must be there where the workers are. Such a seeping out of the revolutionary ferment from the mass organizations would mean the unquestioned rule by the reformists of the old unions. The winning over of the trade unions means the winning over of the working class, the winning over of those millions which are there, and as long as this is our aim, we cannot propagate a slogan for the destruction of the unions. ”

Solomon Abramovich Lozovsky,  Lenin: The Great Strategist of the Class War (1924)

“ In the constant development of our movement, in the constant growth of the Communist ideas and Communist Parties, in the extended influence of the Communist International and the Red International of Labor Unions, in the internationalization of our methods of struggle and in the elasticity of our revolutionary tactics, in the growing international unity between the various sections of the revolutionary proletariat—in all this we can see the firm hand and the great genius of Lenin. He stands out in the history of the international labor movement as one of its foremost and greatest leaders. ”

Solomon Abramovich Lozovsky,  The World's Trade Union Movement (1924)

“ Let us lead all the workers into the struggle according to your program, and not ours. Let us create together a United Front according to your own program. Our program does not end with merely economic demands and the demand of the fight against the danger of war. Our program is much wider than that. The crux of it is the overthrow of capitalism. You do not agree with that; let us lay aside all those points upon which we differ; let us leave only those which unite us and on these points let us wage a relentless struggle." These are the causes, character and essence of the United Front. ”
