CHAPTER II. RIGHTS AND DUTIES OF CITIZENS Article 8 All citizens shall be assured dignity and value of human beings, and it shall be the duty of the State to guarantee such fundamental rights of the people to the utmost. Article 9 All citizens shall be equal before law, and there shall be no discrimination in political, economic, social, or cultural life on account of sex, religion or social status. No privileged caste shall be recognized, nor ever be established in any form.
