“ Deliver me from blood, O God, Thou God of my salvation: and my tongue shall extol Thy justice.

Jesus, have mercy on me, a wretched sinner, whom Thou hast redeemed with Thy precious blood.
Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me, enter not into judgment with Thy servants, for in Thy sight no man living shall be justified. ”

“ To receive Communion, open the mouth, letting the tongue touch the inner side of the lip, and having received the Sacred Particle on the tongue, swallow it as soon as you can, to avoid all irreverent touching of the Sacred Host with the teeth or lips. Do not fix your eyes on the Priest or elsewhere, but occupy yourself with devout aspirations of the heart. ”

“ Thou shalt not steal.
8. Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour.

The Six Commandments of the Church.
1. To keep certain days holy, with the obligation of resting from servile works.
2. To hear Mass on all Sundays and holidays of obligation.
3. To keep the days of fasting and abstinence appointed by the Church.
4. To go to Confession at least once a year.
5. To receive the Blessed Sacrament at least once a year, and that at Easter or thereabouts. ”

“ Thomas, tells us that we have all four special debts which we owe to Almighty God, answering to the four great ends for which Jesus Christ instituted the Holy Sacrifice of the Altar. These are: —
1. To praise and honour the infinite Majesty of God, in acknowledgment of His supreme dominion over us.
2. To satisfy Almighty God for the sins we have committed against Him. ”
