AGE DETERMINATIONS- The Secretary of Health and Human Services, in consultation with the Secretary of Homeland Security, shall develop procedures to make a prompt determination of the age of an alien, which shall be used by the Secretary of Homeland Security and the Secretary of Health and Human Services for children in their respective custody. At a minimum, these procedures shall take into account multiple forms of evidence, including the non-exclusive use of radiographs, to determine the age of the unaccompanied alien.

TRANSITION RULE- Notwithstanding any other provision of law, an alien described in section 101 (a) (27) (J) of the Immigration and Nationality Act (8 U.S.C. 1101 (a) (27) (J) ) , as amended by paragraph (1) , may not be denied special immigrant status under such section after the date of the enactment of this Act based on age if the alien was a child on the date on which the alien applied for such status.
