Article 42 The survey industry, professional survey engineers and surveyors are obligated NOT to disclose any secret and confidential information they learn during the course of by conducting the business. Should any of the secret and confidential information learned by the survey industry, professional engineers and surveyors involve issues regarding national security or military secrets, survey industry, professional survey engineers and surveyors are obligated to abide by the rules of the National Security Information Protection Act and other relevant legal regulations.

Republic of China Ionizing Radiation Protection Act (2002)

Occupational exposure refers to the exposure that incurs from practices. (10) Medical exposure refers to the exposure of patients and their helpers to ionizing radiation in the course of diagnosis or treatment. (11) Emergency exposure refers to systematic exposure which is voluntarily received in order to rescue lives of persons in danger and to prevent the worsening of a situation, or other emergencies during and after the occurrence of an accident.

Republic of China Geology Act

After a land development plan has passed review or a construction permit has been issued, the regulatory authority for the relevant sector shall compile and forward on a regular basis to the central competent authority the geological data related to the land development activity. The owners of geological data shall properly preserve the raw geological data for a set period of time. The central competent authority may notify the data owners to provide the raw geological data, and compensate them appropriately.
