And þer is sent a vois in Juda and Jerusalem, to alle þe sonus of transmygracioun, þat þei shulden be gedered in to Jerusalem ”

Forsoþe fro þe face of þe king and of þe seuene counseileris of hym þou art sent, þat þou visite Jude and Jerusalem in þe lawe of þi God, þat is in þi hond ”

“ Manie also of þe prestis, and Leuitus, and þe princis of fadris, and þe eldere, þat hadden seen þe raþere temple, whan it was foundid, and þis temple in þe eȝen of hem, wepten wiþ a gret vois, and manye criende out in gladnesse rereden vp a vois; ne any man myȝte knowen þe vois of þe cri of men gladende, and þe vois of þe weping of þe puple; forsoþe mengingli togidere þe puple criede out wiþ a gret cri, and þe vois was herd aferr. ”
