Carey, the noted Publisher of Phila., and is illus. by a new set of copper plates, engraved by American artists. Owing to faulty numbering of the plates, and lack of index to these, it is impossible to tell whether any are missing. Those in vol. 2, treating of the Mammalia, are numerous; in the others they are scarce. The text is complete, with Indices. ”
