“ That we are having lint errors showing on those pages is not a problem of the user, it is an issue of the linterror not being able to avoid or exclude those pages. The user has every right to have a linterror if they so choose. If pages are being categorised in a problematic nature, then we can fix our categorisation scheme, or tune the page so it doesn't categorise. We should only be blanking truly problematic pages that are out of scope, highly problematic and unable to be resolved by other means, or redundant by duplicating content from elsewhere. ”

“ So far as I can see, the only places it makes sense to use the author name to disambiguate is in disambiguation pages, and these should never need a year. For any other type of page the best and most commonly used elsewhere disambiguator is the year of publication. That should deal with 99% of cases. When there are the rare exceptions (collisions) , the better additional disambiguator is publisher or place of publication (to distinguish separate UK and US editions published in the same year) . ”

“ Some changes to the appearance of talk pages have only been available on Talk: and User talk: namespaces. These will be extended to other talk namespaces, such as Wikisource talk:. They will continue to be unavailable in non-talk namespaces, including Wikisource: pages (e.g., at the Village Pump) . You can change your preferences (beta feature) . On Wikisources, when an image is zoomed or panned in the Page: namespace, the same zoom and pan settings will be remembered for all Page: namespace pages that are linked to a particular Index: namespace page. ”
