And Y shal ȝeue to þee a kyng in my wodenesse, and Y shal take awey in myn indignacioun. Þe wickidnesse of Effraym is bounden to gidre; þe synne of hym hydde. Sorewis of a womman berynge chijld shuln cume to hym; he is a sone not wijse. Now forsoþe he shal not stonde in contricioun of sonys. Of þe hond of deþ Y shal delyuere hem, Y shal aȝein bye hem fro deþ. ”

“ And my peple was to gydre stille, for it hadde not science; for þou hast putte awey science, Y shal putte þee awey, þat þou be not set, or vse, in presþode to me; þou hast forȝete þe lawe of þi God, and Y shal forgete þi sonys. Vp þe multitude of hem, so þei synnyden to me. Y shal chaunge þe glorie of hem in to yuel fame. Þei shuln ete þe synnys of my peple, and to þe wickidnesse of hem þei shuln reyse vp þe soulis of hem. And it shal be, as þe peple so þe prest; and I shal visite on hym þe weyes of hym, and I shal ȝelde to hym his þouȝtis. And þei shuln ete, and shuln not be fulfillid ”

“ And Y þe Lord þi God, whiche ledde þee out of þe lond of Egypt; ȝit Y shal make þee for to sytte in tabernaclis, as in days of feest. And Y spac on prophetis, and Y multipliede visioun, and in þe hond of prophetis Y am lickenyd. ”

“ Þat and ȝif þei shuln nurishe out her sonys, Y shal make hem wiþ out free childre in men. Bot and wo to hem, whanne I shal go awey fro hem. Effraym, as I syȝ Tyrus, was foundid in fairnesse; Effraym schal leede out his sones to þe slear. Lord, ȝyue þou to hem; what schalt þou ȝyue to hem? ȝeue þou to hem a ȝate of wombe wiþ oute free children, and drie tetis. Al wickidnesse of hem in Galgal, for þere Y hadde hem hateful; for þe malice of her wickidnesse Y shal caste hem out of myn hous. Y shal not putte to, þat Y loue hem. Alle princis of hem goynge awey ”

“ Y shal not visite on ȝour douȝters, whan þei shuln do fornicacioun, and on ȝoure wijues, whanne þei shuln do auowtrie; for þei lyueden wiþ hooris, and sacrifieden wiþ men turned in to wommans maners. And peple not vndirstondynge shal be beten. Ȝif þou, Yrael, dost fornycacioun, namely þou, Juda, trespasse not; and nyl ȝe entre in to Galgala, and stye ȝe not in to Beþauen, neþer swere ȝe, Þe Lord lyueþ. For as a cowe waxinge wijlde Yrael bowide awey; now þe Lord shal feede hem as a lombe in breed. Parcener of ydolis Effraym, leue ȝe hym; þe feest of hem is departid. ”
