Freeway

“ If, in the judgment of the commission or the director, the public interest would be advanced thereby, a freeway, as defined herein, may be denominated a "controlled access highway". In all other respects, the "controlled access highway" shall be subject to all provisions of this code pertaining to freeways.
As used in this code, "State highway" means any highway which is acquired, laid out, constructed, improved or maintained as a State highway pursuant to constitutional or legislative authorization. ”

(Bowling Green-
Wapakoneta Section) This routing will be over a recently constructed freeway on new location from N. Baltimore to present U. S. 25 southwest of Findlay, thence over present route by-passing Bluffton, Beaverdam on the southeast side of each to a point 2 miles northeast of Lima, then south and west around Lima on new location, thence southwesterly past Cridersville and bypassing Wapakoneta on the east and south to present U. S. 25 west of Wapakoneta. This routing is also designated Interstate Route 75. ”

§ 372; Route 72 372. Route 72 is from Route 39 to Route 605 in Whittier, except as follows:
(a) Route 72 shall cease to be a state highway when Route 90 freeway is completed from Route 5 to Route 39.
(b) The relinquished former portions of Route 72 within the City of Montebello, the City of Pico Rivera, and the County of Los Angeles are not state highways and are not eligible for adoption under Section 81. ”

Recognition of a
Business Route
(in Los Angeles) This routing will follow present location of U. S. Route 101 along Ventura Blvd. in Los Angeles from Vineland Avenue to an intersection with the Ventura Freeway in the Woodland Hills District. Local authorities will maintain the business route signs on this routing, approximately 14.8 miles in length. FLORIDA U. S. 129
Relocation This routing would be over a State Route from east of Branford to Live Oak, which until June 1958 was originally U. S. 129. ”
