“ Section⁠283.⁠Whoever, in order to fulfil the desire of another person, makes it his own business to procure, lures away, or leads away a woman for an indecent purpose by exercising a deceitful trick, threat, forcible violence, undue influence, or any other means of coercion, shall be punished with imprisonment from five years to twenty years and a fine from fourteen thousand baht to forty thousand baht, regardless of whether or not the acts constituting such offence are committed in different countries. ”

“ In the event that the child has no father, mother, or guardian, or has one whom the court, however, finds unable to take care of the child, or in the event that the child resides with another person than the father, mother, or guardian, and the person refuses to accept such ordinance as said in (2) , the court may issue an order entrusting the child to a person or organisation that the court finds appropriate for the purpose of providing care, instruction, and teaching for a period of time designated by the court, when the person or organisation consents thereto. ”

“ In addition, the provisions of the Penal Code which relate to the shooting to death as a method of execution are still unsuitable for and inconsistent with the present circumstances, because it is a brutal, cruel, and inhuman method which the State should not employ against offenders. ”

“ For the purpose of designating the number of hours of working according to paragraph 3, the President of the Supreme Court of Justice shall have the power to issue rules for the judicial service of the courts of justice governing the designation of the number of hours considered to be one day of work for each type of work of social service or work of public interest as he finds appropriate. ”

“ Since the age of the child to be particularly protected by the law from offences relating to sexuality, offences relating to liberty, and child abuse, as designated by section 277, section 278, section 279, section 282, section 283, section 313, section 317, section 318, section 319, and section 398 of the Penal Code, is merely "not over thirteen years", the offenders under the said sections are enabled to cite the consent of the child [victims whose] age is over thirteen years as a reason for which they should be exonerated or their penalty should be alleviated. ”

“ The amount of certain types of crimes, especially the crimes of theft relating to kho, krabue, tools, utensils, or machinery of agriculturists, which now appears to be rising a great deal, causes extreme trouble to farmers, croppers, and gardeners, because when the farming or growing season arrives, agriculturists are unable to find kho, krabue, or machinery for the conduct of cultivation in time. Although responsible authorities have been on watch all the time and have arrested many offenders for prosecution, they could not deter the offenders or make them fear the authority of the State. ”

“ Since one of the important principles pertaining the punishment of criminal offenders is the correction of these people to allow them to start over as good citizens, the punishment which should be undergone by offenders needs to suit the nature of their offences. ”

“ If the father, mother, guardian, or person with whom the child resides fails to may the payment, the court may order seizure of the property of the father, mother, guardian, or person with whom the child resides, to cover the amount which needs to be paid. ”

“ At present, the use of documents or any other objects or data created in the form of electronic cards, such as credit cards, debit cards, smart cards, or any other cards of similar characteristics, whose objective is for use in paying product prices, service charges, or other debts or in furnishing [the users] themselves or other persons with any kind of benefit, is extensively increasing in amount and in types of usage. ”
