Parliament of Singapore,  Arbitration Act 2001 (Now Cap. 10… (2001)

“ A party shall not be precluded from raising the plea that the arbitral tribunal does not have jurisdiction by the fact that he has appointed, or participated in the appointment of, an arbitrator.
(6) A plea that the arbitral tribunal is exceeding the scope of its authority shall be raised as soon as the matter alleged to be beyond the scope of its authority is raised during the arbitration proceedings.

“ A party to arbitral proceedings may apply to the Court challenging an award in the arbitral proceedings on the ground of serious irregularity affecting the tribunal, the arbitral proceedings or the award.
(2) Serious irregularity means an irregularity of one or more of the following kinds which the Court considers has caused or will cause substantial injustice to the applicant—
(a) failure by the arbitral tribunal to comply with section 46; (b) the arbitral tribunal exceeding its powers (otherwise than by exceeding its jurisdiction)
