Summary

An Index to the First Thirty-Three Volumes of the Yale Literary Magazine

“ The numerals after each Editor’s name respectively, signify the year of his class’ graduation and the volume with which he began his labors. The star denotes decease. In order to make the list of DeForest orators complete, two are included (in parentheses) whose productions were not printed. The list of Townsend essayists is by no means complete, as of late years only a few of their essays have been published. Complete sets of the Magazine may be found in the College Library, in the Linonia and Brothers Libraries, and in the British Museum. ”
