It can be an online service with many conferences, and a friendly connection between people (like in "old boys' network") . Here, we use it in the latter meaning of the word. We use our personal networks more than most of us think of. ”

Switches are computers, and they run by code, and, as my dear friend and colleague Larry Lessig pointed out in his first brilliant book “Code”, they are capable of imitating law, because they create reality. They determine who gets what, and in determining who gets what and at what price they determine access to knowledge and therefore power. ”
